Well, we are gearing up for a long weekend. We don't really have any concrete plans yet as to what we are going to do with the 3-day weekend. But hopefully, we'll spend some time outdoors with Walley, i.e. if his stitches get removed tomorrow and he is free from his E-collar.
There are a few pictures that I would like to share with you'll from the past few weeks after Walley's surgery. They were all taken in our home. The last two pictures are of Walley's healing ear. I took them just two days ago. If you look more closely, you will notice the sutures (stitches) on his ear. Can you even imagine there were 6 holes each about 3 mm wide, through and through Walley's ear flap? I can't either! In the first week after the surgery, the holes (made by Dr. Tufaro on Walley's ear for draining the fluid) were very obvious but over the next two weeks, the surgical wounds healed so well that they have left no scars whatsoever! Well, I guess that's the beauty of Medicine, Surgery and of course, God's Healing Grace!!
