'Mountain Drool' for Dogs!!
'Mountain Dew' is for humans who love to drink chilled soda pop and 'Mountain drool' is for dogs who love to chew! A few weeks ago while shopping at Petopia (Our local Pet store) for Walley's food, I came across this really funny and cute chew+squeaky toy which I ended up buying, of course, without a doubt! Take a look at the pictures below and you'll see Walley endorsing the brand ( just for fun!). Eventually, Walley, not too surprisingly, managed to chew off the fake lid of the rubber bottle and to his disappointment there was nothing inside it for him to drink and to his even greater disappointment, the bottle stopped squeaking as well! You can obviously guess why?! Well, Walley thinks it's a fun toy to play with for just a while but wouldn't recommend it to tough chewers and squeaky toy lovers like himself! But then again, he can still play "spin the bottle" with it! I guess, that's not such a bad deal after all! LOL.... Enjoy the pictures!

Walley's 'relaxing' Valentine's day at Unleashed Spa!!
Wow! It's been almost two months since I last blogged about our Walley! I've been a little unfair towards my blog because of my other writing assignments and I am sorry to keep my readers and followers waiting for new posts from us. Now, I am back on my blog and I assure you that you are going to really enjoy the next couple of posts including this one!!
Walley had a very relaxing and refreshing Valentine's day celebration this year! It had been a while since he got himself groomed so Elwyn and I thought, why not let him enjoy a day at the Spa and what better place for dogs to get pampered than Unleashed Spa? Unleashed Spa is simply the best in NYC! Walley just enjoys getting groomed at Unleashed Spa but most of all, he enjoys the attention and pampering he gets from Kim, Mary Ann and the other staff out there. Kim is the owner of Unleashed Spa and Mary Ann is Walley's groomer (or shall I say, Stylist!) Mary Ann has been grooming Walley since he was a little puppy! And if you recollect from my older posts dating back to 2009, I had posted a picture of Walley with Mary Ann, shortly after he was groomed for the very first time! Well, back then Walley was only three months old and Mary Ann was carrying him in her arms! Now, our munchkin has become just too big and heavy to carry so I couldn't get a picture of Mary Ann carrying him but I have something VERY special in store for you all!
Kim, the owner of Unleashed Spa, was very kind and sweet to let me enter the actual grooming space of the Spa. So this time when Walley was getting groomed, I was able to get really close-up shots of Mary Ann and Walley in ACTION!! Isn't that just amazing?!! I was so thrilled to be able to see Walley getting groomed so professionally by Mary Ann. And I am even more thrilled that I am able to share these absolutely lovely pictures with all of you. Take a look at the pictures below and you will see Walley enjoying his oatmeal bath, blueberry facial and the special blow-dry finishing! Mary Ann is such a fantastic groomer and I am so glad to have her as Walley's Stylist!!!
Mary Ann is the best dog groomer I have met till date! You can actually tell how passionate she is about her work just by looking at the pictures above!
And below are two pictures of amazing Kim with our adorable munchkin. I am so glad I was able to get a few pictures of Walley with Kim in ACTION as well!
Walley just LOVES getting groomed at Unleashed Spa and the pictures above simply speak a thousand words for the same! Kim and Mary Ann are Walley's favorite people but I have seen him getting pampered by all the other groomers at Unleashed Spa as well- the attention seeker that he is! I am so glad we have this amazing 'Unleashed Spa' so close to our home that we can literally walk to it and get our Walley groomed by the amazing staff out there!
And now for the final closing of Walley's Valentine's post, I want to share this picture of Walley that we took soon after he came home from the Spa. Just look at how COMPLETELY relaxed he is!! He just fell into deep sleep next to Elwyn on the couch..... Now this is what I call a true after-spa effect!!
