Walley's first day-trip to Woodstock, NY

Yesterday, Elwyn and I celebrated 3 years of blissful married life and to make the day even more precious, we had our adorable Walley with us. The 3 of us went on a road-trip to Woodstock, NY. This was officially Walley's first long drive with us and we were all so excited for this trip.

We left for Woodstock early in the morning and the drive was approximately 2 hours from where we live in the city. It was a very scenic drive and couple of times during the ride, Walley would stand on his two hind paws to look outside the window:-) He thoroughly enjoyed the ride! He was very quiet throughout the drive back and forth. He slept for a little while in the back-seat of the car. The cutest thing, we thought was the way Walley would come and settle down exactly in between me and Elwyn several times during the ride. He would then slowly move his belly forward, a little by little, and settle down on my lap and keep his chin on Elwyn's arm (Elwyn was driving at the time). I have to say sometimes we can't get a picture of some of these precious moments, but the sentiments we feel about the cute little things Walley does, don't even need to be captured in pictures. We'll remember them for life anyway!

We had a lot of fun in Woodstock. The small old-fashioned town and the tiny shops on either side of the lane, shopping for beautiful candles at Candlestock, walking on the snow trail amidst the Catskill mountains, buying a souvenir toy bone from "Woofstock" for Walley to remember his trip to Woodstock and finding a lane named after Elwyn were the fun things we did yesterday. We'll remember this special trip as Walley's first day-trip with us and this anniversary was our most memorable one till date. Walley has made every moment of our lives precious and we love our precious puppy for bringing so much joy in our lives. Below is a gallery of pictures from our woodstock trip.

We are almost at the end of 2009. This year has been a fantastic and blessed year for the three of us. As we move into 2010, I would like to wish all the readers of this blog, on behalf of Walley and us, a blessed and prosperous 2010. May the new year bring loads of happiness into your lives.
