Hannah, our Dog-walker for Walley:-)

Two months ago, God blessed us with an adorable Golden Retriever puppy, our Walley; and few days later, God blessed us again with Hannah, a loving and caring dog-walker who walks our puppy while we are gone to work during the day. Such a wonderful blessing for Walley and us!!

Hannah has been walking Walley during the day for the past two months and it has been going great for both of them. Walley loves Hannah and we know that our puppy is in good hands when we are gone to work. We hadn't really planned to have a Dog-walker for Walley when we just brought him home two months ago. We had brought Walley home over the Columbus day long weekend. In just the 3-day weekend, we had already bonded with Walley and he was so attached to us as well. The Monday following that weekend was the hardest day for the three of us. Elwyn and I found it so miserably hard to leave Walley alone at home while we went to work. I couldn't help crying once every hour thinking about how Walley would be doing at home all by himself for those couple hours that we were away for work. That's when we decided that maybe having a dog-walker wouldn't be such a bad idea after all. Our concierge recommended that we call the Aerobic Dog Walk company for Walley. So, we made a few phone calls and planned the whole Dog-walking routine for our munchkin. Walley and Hannah are like two best friends. As for us, we can't be thankful enough to God for blessing us with Hannah for our Walley.

Hannah leaves written notes for us on our desk after her half-hour walk with Walley every weekday. This way, we know if our little munchkin has been naughty or nice while we're not around:-) We have been collecting the notes for Walley's scrap book. So here are two of the cute and funny ones:

October 15, 2009: Walley had already peed in his crate when I came and he didn't do anything outside( I don't think he liked the rain).

December 16, 2009: Walley did not do anything outside today. And he knocked an ornament off the Christmas Tree, but I couldn't find the hook to hang it up.

One day, this month I was home with Walley for some work I had to finish up when Hannah came to pick him up for his morning walk and that's when I really saw Walley's bonding with Hannah. I saw Walley's enthusiasm and excitement when he sees Hannah walk through the doorway to take him out and I saw Hannah's love and affection towards Walley. It was just so amazing!
Here are pictures I took of Hannah and Walley after their walk outside together.

Thank you all for reading the blog! It's one week to Christmas. Yay!
